We offer acupuncture for mamas-to-be to who want to ensure a smooth progression into labor. Acupuncture has been used for centuries to assist women during childbirth.
The Nest is the place to receive acupuncture for labor preparation in Chicago. If you are approaching your due date or if you are overdue and wanting to avoid an induction,
we're here for you.

Labor preparation acupuncture has many benefits:
Influences hormone balance so that the body may initiate labor naturally and maintain the progression of labor without unwanted inductions or inventions
Promotes thinning and ripening of the cervix
Helps encourage proper positioning of baby
Relaxes the muscles, tendons and ligaments in order to allow baby to easily descend further into the pelvis
Helps to quell anxiety, fear, and frustration
Addresses any discomforts the mother-to-be may be experiencing
(i.e. heartburn, back pain/sciatica, headache, restless legs, etc.)
